In a weekend dominated by Nigerian talent across Europe’s top leagues, Christantus Uche delivered a breakout performance that eclipsed the bigger-name stars and earned him the title of Baller of the Week.
Uche, 22, was at the centre of Getafe’s decisive victory away to Celta Vigo in La Liga. The rising Super Eagles midfielder was involved in both goals, first supplying the assist for Liso to open the scoring, then sealing the result with his strike 18 minutes from time.
